The Vision of ImagiSonix:
- To make diagnostic capabilities available for emergency use, rural health, disaster sites, military forward echelons, by configuring the ultrasound imaging system for practical use under a wide range of situations
- To facilitate the distribution of ultrasound image and video data, through wireless and web based communications, for better diagnostic evaluation
- To develop accurate freehand 3D imaging capabilities for quantitative image analysis and quicker diagnosis
- To improve training of EMTs, medics, trauma physicians in the diagnosis of trauma, by the use of injury-mimicking phantoms
- To develop ultra lightweight high quality imaging system
- To enhance the capabilities of the ultrasound system by developing algorithms for ready detection of life-threatening conditions
